Dear Parents and Guardians,
Wow, what a week it has been! Today marked a successful Field Day, filled with laughter, games, and camaraderie. It was wonderful to see our students enjoying themselves and showcasing their teamwork skills.
As we head into the weekend, I wanted to remind you about the importance of returning all library books. We have a hefty inventory ahead of us, so please ensure all books are returned to school promptly. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.
Speaking of books, I'm excited to share that Mrs. Russo has organized an upcoming Book Swap! Please encourage your child to bring a book (in good condition) to the school library to earn a ticket for swapping. This initiative not only promotes reading but also helps to build your child's summer reading stack. We've got to keep 'em reading!
In honor of Memorial Day, let us take a moment to reflect on and celebrate the brave individuals who have served and sacrificed for our country. Their dedication and courage inspire us all.
We hope you have a safe and enjoyable long weekend with your loved ones. School will resume on Tuesday, May 28.
Kindly,
Dr. Schonffeldt
In this week's spotlight, we celebrate the incredible young individuals in our school community who have exemplified the core values of ABCs—Act Responsibly, Be Respectful, Care for Yourself and Others. Their actions remind us daily that the foundation of a great school community starts with respect, responsibility, and care. Let’s continue to encourage and support each other in embodying these principles, inspired by our students' dedication and kindness.
